our story

how jj cookies began…

In 2009, our founder, Johnny Mitcham, started baking cookies as a way of encouraging and thanking community members. Little did he know, God had much bigger plans!
In 2016, Johnny had an opportunity to visit India. He was encouraged to sell cookies in order to fund the mission trip, so he did! After only three cookie sales, the trip was fully funded!
In 2018, Johnny was presented another opportunity to return to India, and God used the cookie sales to pay for that trip, too! Johnny saw kids on the streets, hungry and hurting. He knew he had to help! After talking to some leaders he met on the missions to India, God placed a vision in Johnny’s heart. After much prayer and God’s blessing, JJ Cookies was officially established in June 2018.
Now we bake and sell cookies to support the orphaned children in Asia. Every cookie sale helps provide food, shelter, education, medical, and much more for those sweet little ones!
